We have a team from SMBC at our church this week.

They did a great job on their first Sunday.
It has been great to have 12 people who are keen, enthusiastic and excited.

I have enjoyed hearing about their lives, college life and what they are thinking of doing after college.

We are half way

Awesome God, use the SMBC mission team to love, serve and encourage the people they come in contact with.
Help them in their conversations about your Son Jesus. Amen

Youth Group

At youth group this term we are looking at the book of Matthew.

I think we live in a post Biblical society.
If you say Jesus walked on the water, people say, Who? Did what?

So in first term we look at one of the gospels.

Pray:
# That young people will turn to Jesus and put their trust in him.
# That leaders will prepare well and grow in their walk.
# That a link will be made between youth group and our 6pm service.
