Recently I organised a meeting, I knew some
people couldn't make it, at least 6 people still could.
Only 2 showed up!
After, I walk back to my office thinking,
"Young people, no commitment these days, back in my day..."
"People are hopeless, how hard is it to
come along to an important meeting."
A thought then dawned on me, "Maybe I
created this problem."
Have I been saying to people, "Only come
when you can."
"Just commit to a few meetings."
"As long as you make it to the last
meeting you should be fine."
Have there been times in ministry that have
frustrated you?
Have you found it hard to find people to
volunteer?
Stop and think.
Maybe I created this problem
